It been awhile since I blog. It not like there nothing to blog about, but it the feeling, lol... Cos sometimes really is too lazy to write what is goin on about/around me.

Then you guys must be wondering why im here blogging? Cos the reason is im quite free from my work. It not a very slack job, but if there no work, we can rest which means I could go back to my desk and type this entry.

Well, I have ORDed/Completed NS since 9 June. It been a good worthwhile 2yrs, taught me more about life, how to communicate or maintain good relationship with people from different background and much more, though I admit there will be times tat we hate about, for myself would be sai kang(shit work).

Currently I am now working at Institue of Microelectronics (IME). Mine job scope would be operating the machines and simple troubleshooting. Already working for around 3wks, but still I am trying to get use to the environment.

My blog skin will be change soon cos I sick of it already, been browsing for afew days already, so juz look forward to it.

Painting Jobs

Time passed very fast, it nearly 1 month since my last post. Quick update, back to my parent unit, trying to adapt back cos still got abit of BMT mood in my brain. Went despatch somesort like go out of camp to deliver or collect item/equipment from contractors, went to places like airport in our new coverall which I felt is weird wearing tat kind of uniform walking around in public eye, somemore we go walk walk till T3, it still new so quite empty. The places we go is quite extreme like some duno ulu place in tuas to airport, went for lunch at jurong point, while crossing the road of the carpark entrance, saw alot of maj/ltc drive in, den our reaction is act as road marshals... haha.

Last week took leave from thur to paint my room. I use warm yellow as the base color and mandarin glow for the stripes on 1 side of the wall. Actually it a good and enriching experience to paint your room, and er if next time need to paint again, I would seriously consider spent $$$ other ppl come and paint for me... Cos it very tiring, your hand and back would 'suan pain'... So wen I first started and finished a corner of the room, turn my head and look behind, and see still got whole room haven touch yet, the feeling I got is omg, like dun feel like doin, at first was so enthu into it... The first coat I took about 4hrs to complete, I thk is quite slow, but the 2nd coat I took 3.5hrs... Experience already so paint faster, lol. After I paint the whole room, I felt like asking myself how do I do tat, felt happy for myself wen completed.

Afterwhich still got stripes haven paint... I use 2 rolls of masking tapes and 2days to do up the stripes, I took 2 days bcos I damn sian and the measurement/pattern of strips not confirm. So in the end paint the stripes yest, and tis morning Bai Jia Le, arrange eveything back... Tat y now den got time to blog/upload some pics of my room. Oh ya... juz created facebook yest nite, so can add me if u wish... 2ml go back camp for duty, holiday so long go back straight away do duty is sian-ed cos first time doin cds duty, which is quite mafan... Tekong Adventure (Ending soon)

It finally coming to the end of my PES C recourse at Tekong Bronco Coy. It been a exciting and relaxing bmt course. Although there is tough times but the instructors make it a smoother ride like by absorbing the PCs ranting, they did not tekan us but try their best to help each individual of us, for this point is quite commendable already.

Having goin thru the course, for the good things is, it make me a Man/Soldier wen I first fire a SHOT of the M16 and the throwing of a Hand Grenade(HG). U can felt a sense of acheivement wen U fire a shot and the target in front went down, like the PC say "1 shot, 1 KILL". On HG, last time my frend say that he was hum(scare) wen u have to put the HG in your pouch and wait for ur turn to throw, cos scare sudden explosion. But wen I was holding to my HG, the feeling I get is the safety pin is so tight, the pin will prevent it from exploding. A little bit more on HG, my PC is a from guards, wen doin the Imediate Action drill, the other PCs only tell their man to squat, wheras only our PC is prone means lie down flat face facing floor, somemore previous day raining, the floor is full of water and tat day is book out day, a number of us tot of wearing tat uniform for book out, in the end all of us is soak with water... We claim we r Guardsman.

Field camp juz finish yest, it was a 3D2N thing, the first nite was damn uncomfortable, the morn rain make the ground wet and puddles of water was near my basha, den my buddy report sick cos he dun wish to sleep in the outfield, so as the others, but some managed to get it and some LanLan have to come back, as I was saying, the ground is wet and they claim the groundsheet waterproof, but in the end wen I lie down, my whole back body till my legs is wet even my underwear wet, at tat point of time it is a shitty feeling and felt like cursing... haha... , nxt morn wake up, as the shirt is wet, it stick to ur body and the cold wind blows, my body tremble... so I juz stand ther stone abit, letting my body get used to it before doin anythg... 2nd nite oso same, but I use my dirty to absorb the water, it works but after afew hours, can felt the wetness... but not as wet as 1st nite...

Book in sunday should b the last book in, cos the coy got say before we can go back on the 21 which is wed, but all things not cfm. But thk of it shld b true, cos there is nothing left for us since we completed all the things already, nothing left. Back at unit they are busy cos of asean summit tis coming mon to thur, ther no 1 in camp except weiquan and kumsum... so if go back on thur, still can slack cos no1 ard... Heard from weiquan tat ah leow went to 36sce, which I thk is not tat good, cos no1 will help us buy teabreak, lol... should have sent kelvin. Bcos wq say nv play soccer for long time alrdy, say not enuff ppl... so shld sent kelvin, cos he ther oso nv play soccer, so go over 36sce make no difference... wheras ah leow still got play soccer wif us... haha...

Quite looking forward to goin back camp to slack till ORD loh!!

Tekong Adventure

Yea... Maybe u guess it, but Im goin to tekong AGAIN, dun blame CPC though, since out of course (OOC) last year wen enlist, will know tat the day will come sooner or later. Haha... At first was quite happy to go back, if this time round dun go, next intake will be april, and furthermore I dun wish to ORD BOTAK... Lol. As the days draw nearer, really SIAN to go back, but thk again, it juz a waste of NS life, waste another 2mths ther, like escape from camp work. Oh ya, I haven mention the date, it Tmr 221007, lol... Quite a last entry before I go oversea, lol, over island is oso consider o'seas mah, it provide food and lodging free. wher can u find tis kind of o'seas trip. Heard tat there no confinement, so probably fri or sat will book out. Hope it fri, den got more time to spent wif outside world, lol...

Now tat I saw my last entry, it quite long since I updated, so now trace back abit. I rem the following week monday after my bday is COA visit, and I was among the selected personnel to attend a dialouge session wif him. Last minute notice, since I was on off on friday, and friday Routine Order (RO) saw me promoted to CPL, so i couldn't wear my LCP go for the dialouge, and so monday went back, morn went to draw ranks from a WO, haha... Storeman all busy, and no choice, mine quite urgent, so she gave me first, den psyco my friends to go 35sce for lunch/sew my uniform which at another part of seletar camp. Heng the auntie got open tat day, if not chui-ed...

Before the dialouge session, got the photo taking, which is very messy, alot of ppl got different ideas, in the end it NSF tat do alot of moving/shifting around. During the dialouge session, can feel free to ask anythg abt army, but all of us is like waiting/looking see who goin to ask... So our comdt start the ball rolling asking abt the Dave Teo incident, and the session goes on... Den got 1 part is got one WO ask a Qs tat felt like shooting the comdt leg, lol... He ask since our standby force wear cargo pants and polo-T, can it be subsidise. COA straight away say as long as it Ops, dun see any problem with army paying... Haha. Den aft the session, actually think of Qs to ask, ppl is always like tat, time to do, evrytime 4got, aft tat den regret. Wanted to ask 'Y technicians dun have hazard pay?' We doin things like electricity which can cause harm to us... right? lol... Till den~

Happy 21st Birthday to me.... Lame rite... HAHA... 2day is my bday, didnt really go all out to organise a celebration or chalet or party, but juz have a simple dinner at home wif my maternal side family. Bought the cake call Coco Exotic from four leaves since it near my home at compass point. A BIG Thank You to all my friends for the bday messages that U all sent. Really hope to have a major celebration next year. It also a long time since I post some pics... So enjoy viewing~

Juz reach home after a dinner and movie session. Quite shack but dun feel like sleeping yet so here to type tis entry. Well, went to have dinner somesort of a small gathering organise by zhi ming, with roger, charis, chee wei and grace. Could say it was a last minute thing, went to a coffeeshop at Lorong 6 or 7 Toa payoh Blk 51, call the Uno Beef Hse, dun get mistaken though, I didnt go ther to have beef... Lol. It juz famous for beef.

Afterwhich Charis went home, she got some stuff to settle, while the rest of us decide to go AMK Hub to play some board games/watch movie. But in the end we watch arcade instead and get tixs @2330 to watch Rogue Assassin. Went MOS to chill and play eachother Hp games... Haha.

Den Gabriel, zhi ning, hui min and Bf arrived to join us for the movies, cos heard they went marina steamboat with hmm unknown. Dun get to talk much wif them cos wen they reach, juz nice time to enter cinema. Overall the movie quite good in terms of action, except for the ending part abit abrupt.

Reach home thanks to Chee wei for giving me a ride in his new car (1st time taking it) Honda erm jazz or getz... Lol. Gd Nitez!

Good morning?... 10 plus is still morning mah, though it late morning. The whole of tis week is quite happening for me. Mon was off day due to last sat NDP preview standby, the standby thing was crap, practically we do nothing except eat; play, sleep. But oso abit not worth, standby is from 7am-10pm, in return get 1 day off which is office work time 8am-530pm.

Fri was Zhiwei 21bday chalet at Aranda Country club downtown east, but got duty tat day so I went wif Jiahao on thur nite, somemore thur nite was nite out day, so need to book in 2230. But I didnt write the book in/out book. So uh test system, went back in the morning... Haha, stun rite... Lucky never met any big shots... U guys no point bao tou me cos I not goin to do yr duty~!... Haha.

Fri duty was slack, tuang till... After lunch the whole unit is almost empty due to CO want every1 to go marina the floating platform to take PICs. In the end only left me and Boo, which is another duty personnel stay in the workshop, ah and the DO of the day whu is my coy 2IC... At nite damn slack, by rite my slot is 3am-5am, but the SFI come 530, which is not my slot... So I managed to sleep from 2230 till 0630 den went to open gate. Got more den 7hrs of slp... Haha.

Yest spent my time at home watching movies, some dl some get from John, watch till my eyes and brains cant take it, went to take a nap ard 4plus, wake up 6plus, rem later meeting zhiwei for dinner, Jiahao cant make it, den we change to compass point. Suppose to play bball tis morning, but cancel due to ziyi not free, den left aikchuan, zhiwei n me, which is boring cos only 3 ppl. Later on meeting MF 2pm at kovan, say he returning thing to some1. So will blog again in a week times...

Think combine everythg together would abit messy. Therefore, july entries would be separated. Well. On the 1st of july is SAF Day, den 2nd july is mon. Muz reach camp by 0640 for parade, so I take cab to camp and meet Wei jian (1 of mine bunk mate) outside the gate and we went in, den met tis WO wen were signing in inside the room, whu claim tat we neva pay compliments to him, and while he was taking to us... One of my frend came in and saw us kena scolding say : Morning Sir, really is Thanks lor -_-... so in the end awarded us 2 X xtra duty... Juz imagine, stepped into camp and kena tis kind of shyt, already morale down wher got mood to go parade. Den somemore aft explaining to our superior, got 1 thing he say make me laugh, some ppl takes their pride seriously... The WO juz a 2wo only.

Fri juz went to MF bday celebrations at a chinese buffet restaurant opp shaw house. Although it mine 1st time trying ma la steamboat, quite spicy though our table order a min spicy (got 3 levels)... lol. Imagine the 3rd level of spicy, walala~

Today went to watch Die hard wif james... Not tat bad, MaggieQ hot! Haha... 2ml book in day, another five day work week again... Cya ^.^

First week, went to James commission parade, finally he get his 2LT aka chocolate bar. Lol. Got take 1 pic wif him and roger... But he haven sent it to me, though his mum gave me the 'wash' 1... Ah... poly gathering of my diploma at errr... a japanese restaurant juz below marina square. Like the place ther, especially the way u have to seat, japanese style, but ther a hole below for ur legs, if not after a while sure cramp... haha... As for the food, it good but imptantly see if u can finish, cos I order a large (eh 4got the name) and I manage to finish (every1 waiting for me), prob due to I got ulcer on tat day or the serving is smply 2 much... Well a group foto again, and the oth is wat I order~ It is like mui fan, cos got rice underneath, but nonetheless the gravy make it overall nice ^^

I am now used to stay in camp that sometimes dun feel like goin out of camp. Wen it was a stay in day, mine bunk would go and play soccer, really quite enjoyable, at least it wun b so boring as to juz stay in and do nothing except watch tv la blah blah... Though the knee injury is stl plaguing me, but I think it quite worse already, as it juz came and after a while it will be back to normal. Mayb 1 day it would give up on me.

Past few days was quite shiong, cos Im been selected (Im the most fittest among all the others PES C2L3) to participate in the Engineer 40th Anniversary Parade which is held at Marina Bay, the floating platform. Even though I am a technician, I was ask to go, cos I realise all the other contingents is make up of combatants. But I do not regret goin as it a experience and honour to be ther. As we are the 1st to use the place even before the NDP rehearsal starts, so we are the first to march on the platform. It a experience for me as the parade include the band and the guest is all those big shots like the Chief of Army, Chief of Defence Force and the Minister of Defence, Mr Teo. At first the contingent I was in, our marching was chui lor, but wen the band was included, it really help us alot such as to get us in steps. Hearing the band music give me a feeling I was in NDP. Haha...

Heard from the emcee that the Marina Bay would be the place wher the next 5 NDPs held. I think it worth the money as they built the whole structure everythg and if use only for 1 year really, it will be extravangant. They call it the floating platform, but seriously it wun move alot, except you could see the difference when it a low/high tide... The whole structure is beautiful, got color seats. it resemble abit like the old stadium.

Tmr is the final rehearsal before the actual event is on tuesday. Really looking forward and pray that I dun cock up at the last minute.

Hey guys. I am goin to stay in... Chui liao la. So used to stay out, since 240706... Now asking me to stay in is hell for me. Now confirm need to pack my stuff etc. But some frends of mine tell me to keng stay out... But I think im too honest... Haha...

Went ther the first day, good impression of the officers and clerks, storemans, techs all very nice people, friendly... but the warrants haiz cannot make it... Heard alot of bad rumours about them, so u might think I bias, but I hv experience 1 of them... And wat he say 1 phase I remember very clearly, "U all poly students, clever den me". He expect us : Should noe wat to do like go find out everythg, wat we do here, impt contact nos, all admin stuff... etc. I went to so many camps, normally is those officers brief us mah...

Here is evrythg do urself... Den somemore the workshop tat I go is nothing related to what my vocation is... So now trying to make my mood get used to stay in... Really will miss my family, pc, psp and friends which can only meet up on wkends... Sad... Gonna pack my bag. And btw U guys wun see me online tat often from now on... Buaiz~

Hihi to every1... Happy new year!! Been very long since I last blog. Well, could say tat I dun feel like blogging or lazy bah. So u guys muz b thinking y Im back??? Haha... To cut everythg short, I would be posted to Seletar camp after my course end last friday, which maybe, could be a stay in camp... so in the future would be even less chance to blog.

I am looking forward to my new location, although it near my house, but if stay in... wat the... Still duno how is the new environment like isit shiong ah, the people ther gd anot, got guard duty? haha...

2ml will be the first day ther, from ther will noe if I need 2 stay in, admin stuff, blah blah blah... Will update 2ml... Nitez~

Long Weekend

YeaH...! Long weekend, being looking forward since thursday. No need to go camp till wednesday, shiok man. Yest evening time was difficult to pass, cant concentrate on lessons ever since noeing today half day off. Cos today only got games and 1 lesson den can go off...

This morn tot can play games, but in the end is basketball again. Not interested in tat, so juz sit and watch the games. Afterwhich change into smart 4 again, for wat we change into PT kit juz to sit and watch game den change back again, waste of time. Den got radio troubleshooting lessons on how and steps to take... Den dismiss for lunch before can go for half day off, lunch is nasi briyani, not so bad/good. Went wif yu sheng to sim lim get my cpu fan, intel original, but den they sold the chip, left the fan... Clever ah, can earn more from selling two things... haha.

Dinner was at suki sushi at houg plaza wif James and Tian En, very long never eat, eat alot bah, cos wat I order, they never help me, I bao ka liao... Goin to get fat again... haha. After dinner, shimin call ask me go accompany him eat, I anythg cos around 2 weeks never saw him. He eat at houg mall long john, den we walk from houg mall to Compass pt, den he take 89 go home whereas I take 11. Along the way, edward call say tmr free? wan meet wif Jl cliques... In the end, the people I wish to go all not free, but at first agreed already, so lan lan muz go... Meet at 1pm Cp den decide wher to go... Guess prob will be town... Will update tmr... Cyaz~

Sick...

Was sick yesterday, cough, sore throat and running nose. Damn sian, how a way to spend my weekend at home. Yesterday juz sleep the whole afternoon after medicine, wake up in the evening ard 6plus, den went to compass point to get woods sweet for sore throat and porridge for dinner. The haze was quite worst, very blur vision or isit I too sick? Anyway, still managed to get home safely... Afterwhich, juz practically sit in front of the TV watch until 1am, the last programme guess3. Never come online or anythg, tired to do so.

Tis mornning wake up still got abit not feeling well. Later on goin to meet james to accompany him buy his things and also pass me the OCS singlet that I ask him to buy for me. U guys muz be thinking, wat the hell get a ocs shirt when I was not in the unit. But actually, I was trying to keep a collections, I got maintenance unit singlet too... So maybe the next 1 would be sispec (Zm or roger? u better get rdy... haha), guards or others, see who is in the unit. Think goin to ask him to buy white shorts too... Cos the ocs is red in color, mix wif white shorts is better... Lol.

Recently juz receive a bday card from a frend of mine, really appreciate it and I like it alot, cos it make by herself, the design, writings everythg. Goin to laminate and keep as memories... Hey! if ur seeing tis, Thanks once again!

Refer to previous post, that I mentioned friday is public holiday, actually it saturday... That would means tis week is a fully 5 days week. So would be sat off till tues...

The beginning

Woo... It has been a month into my course, still got 2 more mths. Being thru a hectic schedule this week. Tests and more tests... Start off this week monday with practical lesson on a comms set, tuesday test, wednesday practical again on somethg like oscilloscope, thurday test... Stress... Den today start with a new radio again... SEM radio, the instructors say the course has just begin, the past few weeks is to let us warm up and refresh what we learn in poly days... But to me, all is aliens, I never learn that in poly lor, I learn from scratch... Den following 2 weeks will be fully on the new radio... Sian man...

Friday 13... Unlucky... Com down... cos CPU fan not working... Gona look for a new fan or duno need to buy a new motherboard... Now using my bro com... Quite jialat, but nonetheless can come online will do...

Yea! Next week got long wkend... Fri public holiday, monday off from CO, tues holiday again... Total 5days. Haha...
Den 29/10 sunday is class cohesion, book a chalet at costa sands pasir ris, but monday mayb need 2 go back camp for work/lesson. But if I got carrot (rewards) den can get day off... Tat y some of them complain, if no off den need to go back camp, den the bbq at sun nite... So, in the first place, why dun book a bbq pit instead or chalet? haha... Reason given: for those got carrot, can stay overnite. The instructors oso quite funny, those tat say dun wan go one, during practical go and disturb them or use their ranks long chiam pas... Haha. Den I personally think i can get the carrot, so anythg lor... Furthermore, live in sengkang, not tat far though!

Next next week on 27, think is friday will be depavalli cum hari raya call deparaya celebration... Lame... Each class muz have some people to go perform... So draw lots lor, luckily nv kena... Heard is either fashion show or indian/malay dance.

Drive me crazy

It been 2 weeks since my vocation course start. It a nearly 3 mths course, end on 8/12. Everyday 745-530, but compare to last time, ther alot of responsibilites... Such as area cleaning, paying compliments to officers and Guard Duty... Frankly, wen I was at the same camp as a Auxillary staff (AS) I never do all these things at all... Come to realise AS life is damn relax compare to trainee... Last time saw ppl wash toilets, now it my turn... Lol...

The course is really tougher than I expected... First day, my instructor brief us on what gona happen and wat we learn... The terms and subjects he mentioned is like telecom thgs, I dun remember study before in poly days. The course prerequistic is electronics diploma... Den mine is microelectronics, it about wafer fab... wher got link... Den the instructor say at least u got some background engineering knowlegde... I no choice say ok lor... Den come the next Suprise, we gona do a presentation by nxt tues which is on 26/9... Den all of us, wah so fast do project liao... maciam like poly days... Study and projects all the way...

28/9 is mine bday... 20 already, old liao...

Den yest 29/9 lesson was even worse, went thru a ppt which is 113 pages... tat freaking long... At nite meet kah hao for a late dinner at houg mall to borow from him some telecom books to study, if not I catch no ball during lesson, den jialat liao. Oso for him to return my ties, have dinner at pepper lunch. Tok abt my army life and he now wrking at sim lim selling monitors... ask him to chk for me the price of PS2, cos i duno wat i really wan, Xbox 360 or PS2? Den during the dinner got 2 ppl sms ask me wen my bday... I was like er... yest... den the 2 felt guilty about it... Lol. Dun worry, im not so petty, at least rem mine bday nxt yr den... Haha

Tis morn he reply me PS2 $249 modified with 2 controllers. Do u think it worth? Later on gona meet shimin and the others (i duno whu he get) to watch Stay alive, duno wat movie it tat. 2ml morn Guard Duty, 730 muz report in SBO all tis... Tat would means muz take 6am nel... Full day 24hrs until mon morn... At least can slp for the first half of the day, but will still be shack for lesson in the aft... It a loonggg day tmr...

Tuesday

Today is the first day of the week that I am in camp. Then after tmr will be on leave until next monday. Then thur on leave again until course start on 18 sept. In total still got 4 more days excluding 2day to slack and surf net.

Heard from the others, after my 3 month course and 2 months on the job training, will be promoted to corporal. At least it better then to be a private (pay $$ more). Then if overseas posting, will get higher pay, but think of leaving sg for a long period of time, juz not worth it. But living independently outside sg is also a good experience. Today and 2ml will be those june and july intake NS men passing out parade (pop). Hope to meet some of my section mates for gathering or somesort like tat. If I am goin back to Tekong for re-bmt, I wun mind cos BMT is not tat difficult as others say, I juz felt tat it a basic and necessary training for all unless ur coy is those shiong type, den u will need to do extras. At least it at tekong not those mainland camps.

Well, currently juz came back from tea break, wonder if course start still got tea break session. Then most of the guys in the lab is playing online internet browser games (somemore still can save) or either surfing the net just like me. No1 is working on their projects. If my 2yrs of NS life is goin to be like tis, I seriously dun mind at all. Hahaha...

Today is not my day, wake up at 7am, first thought, confirm late to report camp. So came up with two solutions, report sick at polyclinic or go to camp and listen to nagging. End up I choose to go back camp, den call WSM, he sound angry ask to see him wen reach. I tot that i was being honest to tell him i woke up late instead go report sick or say traffic jams all tis. Reach the office, he was not ther, but he put 1 star on my name, the other office guys say I might go DB, but later say it a joke. But will kena mark and nagg by the WSM. Today was like any normal day spend in camp. I was late this morning for the CO parade, reach at 745 sharp. So decided to skip the parade, den went to sign in my attendance saw my wing sergent major, he saw me but say nothing, lucky me. Today just all the way surf net, actually wana tell the warrant I finish, but thinking of getting a new project, decided to keep quiet. Afterall the warrant say he expect evry1 to do 2 projects, I do 3 already lor... Slack man... Den got 3 more guys join in today, the lab is getting packed, so many people walking around, how to surf net like tat... Haha. Today lunch was ok, only the desert is nice.

Yest went to The Cathay watch See no evil by the WWE Kane with James. The time of the show was 105pm, but we are the only 1 watching. Imagine the whole cinema with 2 audience. LOL. Den around a hour later, the cleaners come in watch the movie also... Haha. Afterwhich had lunch at pizza hut. Tis past week eat alot, mon sakura, sat swensens, den pizza hut. Really muz train liao.

Yest is national day, went to east coast park with 3 JL friends/colleagues, the rest all last min dun wan come, haiz... sometimes people would see who is goin b4 they decide whether to come anot, tis ppl ah... nthg 2 say... Reach ther it raining, so mostly gather at the Mc and the coffee bean nearly. Ther ppl mountain ppl sea cos mainly is public holiday, but the worst thing is the rain, come and go... Afterwhich eat lunch at PP, nthg much though, cos one of them goin watch NDP. So the group just went home. Along the journey on the bus, saw my PS while he walking home i think, cos he live near ther... Actually wan 2 msg him, but felt bo liao. Reach home msn wif neil (platoon mate) he quite a nice fellow, chat wif him like very on e.g hey man. or smthg like tat. Get to know some funny thgs from him about the field camp... Hmm... gona meet my section mates tis saturday for lunch, do some catch up oso...

08/08/06 - Tueday
National Day eve, went to camp early, cos muz attend the national day parade. Den they arrange us to stand with those excuse ppl. Den the CO came and walk pass all the contingent very fast, including mine position. Overall, i thk he oso sian to do tis, but no choice, den after the parade got buffet somemore for Officers only... Walow, den wait until 930 go for tea break, no ppl, so sit ther longer abit (eat snake), haha... Den do the program finish, very shack, so sleep lor, it the first time i sleep during office hours for around half an hour. But the warrant nv sat anythg, so shld b fine ah... haha

07/08/06 - Monday
Today tot monday cfm got CO parade, so went to camp early... reach liao only see those trainee stand ther. Never saw any of our OETI ppl... Stand ther with ppl from my section like a fool, den saw ppl march off, faster folo them. Went back to office ask the warrant, he say 2ml got national day parade, so 2day dun hv... Wah, nxt time should say earlier mah...

New Start

Hmm... it ages since i last came here ever since goin to NS.

Yest went with Saf to his company, somesort of introducing his company business proposals and meet up with his mentor uncle James, first time meeting him, quite a influential man to think positive. Same as saf, when he first tell me of people must always think positive ways.

On personal, I was running on thur evening after coming back from camp around 6 plus. Couldn't believe that how am I that motivated for running, when the last time I run was during the napfa test during end of poly days. I ran one round my neighbourhood, although the distance I run wasn't tat long (cos i was not tired at all). But according to NS, it progression training... So next time run further. About my ligament tear, the phsyio say there a chance for me to recover and play sports. How i miss that! Will start to commit myself on training myself.

Well, about NS, i was in BMTC 1 Falcon Coy Platoon 4. But due to old injury knee ligament tear, I was taken out of training (OOT). So everyday just sit by and watch the others train, but I also got train abit on my own. Den was posted out on 20 July to Ayer Rajah Camp OETI (Ordance Engineer Training Institue) as a Elect Tech. Been there for 2 wks already, getting used to it, cos will be ther for 5 mths, 3 mths on the course which start on sept, so roughly around dec post out to other camps. The last day before book/post out, I was pillowed by my fellow platoon mates while I was in dreamland, haha. They pour powder (it alot!!!)on me, and yoko yoko on my back... Damn shiok after tat. Lol...

Hmm... now still remeber the first time book out experience. The roads is clean, the buildings is tall, the outside of my house is so different (Cos I was waiting 30mins for my brother to come back). It just felt weird after staying in camp for 14 days and come out see the environment and appreciate it.

Being working almost everyday since 28 last mth. 2ml is finally a offday for me. Tis time rnd, my colleagues tat im working wif is quite ok except (Edward if any1 of YOU noe him by chance). Juz duno how 2 describe him... no change since sec sch days... **** man. Maybe tok to him too much already, and he began to think that he can step over you. So wat the big deal if he the top student of his diploma in tat batch. Have already started to boycott him. Tis the last time i wrking for John little, nxt time come back will be a customer and show off my Robinsons card. hahaha.

2ml goin meet up wif zhiwei, jiahao and aikchuan for lunch. Somesort of farewell meal for me and zhiwei. Zhiwei goin brunei for half a year or more, while i go army. 2ml might need his help on thgs to buy into army since he got experience. lol.

Too many things to do, and ppl always ask me u no need train 1? although i say: y so kiasu, go in train oso same, already goin for ptp. But inside me: lazy 2 go, so tired aft work, and oso no time... scare canot make it.

Actually JL offer me extension, but bcos of army, so never take the offer. Ac juz msg me of the chnge of time. But stl goin meet zw go SIR 1st.

A310 Chalet

It been a long time since I last post. Cos due to work n oso I lazy to update here, lol. Yest was the first time my poly classmates organise a chalet (2D 1N). But before that, went to Specialist Centre for the john little training for the Great Sg Sale during May.
As I was handing the paperwork to the HR person, cos need to check the infomation if tally, she say: Oh Guang De, zi ji ren, bu yong check. Den people behind me have those strange look on their faces. Senior staff already... Haha. i would still be posted at CP, so mayb can come find me for lunch or dinner, cos I alone tis time (James not working, Pangseh... Haha).
Back to yest, oso juz nice celebrate the 21 Bday for Karise n Weiren, but den weiren went home first. The rest of them play the Fatal Frame or some sort of taking pics of ghost in PS2 (not real life... Lol). All of us was so entu into it... Den some1 knock on the door at 3plus am. It turn out to be our care person whu juz come from his office, cant believe it man, lecturer need 2 stay until 3 plus in the office and return in the morn 7am. Den we tok about the ghost stories in TP and experiences... But it ok now, cos we graduated and no need to go back ther, Haha. Heard too much of it now make me wonder how Pulau Tekong will be. Pray tat I come out without any those experiences. Wake up at 930, b4 having our breakfast at MC.
Afterwhich take roger van. Thanks man, owe u too much free ride. Nxt time u can oso take my car if u trust me, LOL. Play dota wif Hanzhong and mingfeng, mayb too tired or wat, lost the 1st two rnds, den win the oth 2 rnds before we stop. Sometimes felt sian of dota, cos Im not tat pro and I only noe how to use a few of the Heros. Days are counting down, I need to enjoy the freedom!!! End here now. U guys guess wat? i juz wake up at 1230pm tis afternoon. Yest nite went for the gathering organise by Zhiming. We went to seoul garden at bugis for dinner, afterwhich went to watch date movie at Shaw. It quite a nice and damn funny movie. Can watch again without sian. After tat we went the star bucks in suntec n tok... oso take some pictures again... HAHA. Den under charles influnce, we go Esplanade and we play polar bear. haha. den continue to tok until 4 plus in the morning, the range of topics such as career, marriage, nation? Den reach home at 530 thanks to roger lift. Cos after tis small gathering, we might not meet eachother tat frequent, cos goin 2 army... Now waiting for the LETTER. Finally, my last examaination in poly has ended last friday. Now will be waiting 4 results, probably i would pass, den would not need for a 4.1. NS is calling 2 me, im so unfit, how 2 pass? Last friday went to watch Final Destination, not bad for the movie, but the death all happen very fast n died very er xin. Come 2 sch 2day 4 a few purpose, 1) Hand in the MEMO and $$$ for the Dinner & Dance, 2) Hand in project harcover bk to General Office and lastly 3) Do masking on wafer. Now i typing tis in the TP library while waiting for my SIP teammates to arrive, we plan 2 meet at 11, 1 is at home n the oth say he will be late. Time check: now is 12.10pm. Duno if they all wana go out, i would like to go PP. Gona look for digi cams. But i stl in a dilema cos i goin NS, den oso dosent use tat much while in NS, n oso after i come out from army, mayb technology will advanced until 9 or 10 MP... lol. Juz received a call from roger saying he arrive. END here 4 now.

One Last Week of Lessons in Poly

But it also will be my stressest week. Got a whole pile of things that are OWNING. Material Science project haven complete plus the last part 2 it, not very confident though. VLSI Quiz on thurs, project haven settle 2. Somemore, my job interview haven done yet. Would need 2 borow shoes from some1... 2day juz went for my father side New year gathering, cos my da gu they all go holiday every new year. Then tis year my cousin 1st time give hong baos, fely abit weird wen i take it, now i understand how Karise felt tat time, HAHA. Den oso play banglat, but b4 tat. Yest went wif Saf to sim lim, look at the board of all the 12 animals fortune blah blah... Den it write tat I shld not take any financial risks tis year. Mayb i believe 2 much in it... so play banglat in the end no win no lose... Sian tot can earn some extra pocket $. Juz chiong finished my MS project report. Yoyoyo everybody. It been so so so long time since I last post. Erm, wher shall I start from... Alot of things to say. OK!. EPS juz pass by last week 19-21. Tis a photo of me at the booth. Ther would be further more pictures, so juz look out.

On EPS. It a 3 day event in conjunction wif open house. Although did miss the lessons, but it quite fun to be ther, quite alot of familier faces.

On MP. Haiz. Mine group juz duno when is deadlines or they juz dun bother or care about it. I am now lazy to tell them anything. Wait for them to take the initiative. A simple thing muz wait so so long to do. WTH man. I pray tat the whole MP thing would b over soon, so tat I dun have anything to do wif them. Therefore, moral of the story is, MP grp shld not b friends. cos they will take things for granted. For e.g. 2ml is the presentation for the MP. But all the necessary things (storyboard) still have nt done.

On Normal projects. Dun have time for it or im too lazy to do it. Info cant find, morale down.

HoneyMoon Times is Over

Tis is the last wk before mine last sem in TP start. Reflecting over the past 2 months. I personally felt tat ther is not much of a improvement done in my project. The final thing is not even out yet. (Duno wat im doin 4 tat period of time). So it now left to tis final 3 months to get all the things done, although it quite impossible, but stl have to overcome the hurdle. Reports, presentations, overall artefact, exams and etc, it seems so far away from me. Duno how i goin 2 overcome it, felt tat ther a burden on me and it stressing me out, duno how my oth grp mates felt. Juz finish a part of my report, stl got a long way to go. Tat y im here 2 post n to practice abit of english before it all forgotten. GD luck 2 all whu r in the last sem in TP.

Day At MCC

Alright!. A day at the Medical Classifiction Centre (MCC). The following post will b 4 guys only. Those tat need 2 go MCC. I would separate all the stations for further understanding.
When U first reach ther.U would need 2 register (need IC), will c 1 guy whose hair is very messy like juz wake up only. After tat, u would proceed to another register place. 1 guy (dao n short amanli hair), take out questionaire, write yr fone and house number. Then they will call out yr name n pass u a file tat u would need 2 carry for the whole check up.
1st stage. Urine and blood test. The command would b "take 1 cone and stick, go to the toilet, intructions in ther". Then show him the strip n he would ask u to throw away. Blood test, the person would take a sample of yr blood n he would say "alright!!".
2nd stage. Dental Clinic. Ther a professional dental docter, he say out the "code" area of yr teeth. Den proceed 2 the next room for the X-ray of yr teeth, U would c a thing revolving round yr head.
3rd stage. X-Ray of chest. The person ther very friendly, stl say morning (b4 tat all nv say), go into the room, read the instructions on the wall, take of shirt den 1 guy would direct u how 2 pose. Somemore the person abit gay like tat, make me abit kan chiong.
4th stage. Eye Test. Normal thing. Check colour blind, master eye and degree of yr eyes. But the way of doin is very systematic.
5th stage. Hearing test. Here the environment very quiet. Go in juz read the instructions den they would point to U wat 2 do. No need 2 say anythg.
6th stage. BMI, ECG, MO. Body mass index. Check height and weight plus blood pressure. The person taking the height n weight (dao, attitude, tall n big sized). ECG, duno wat tat means. juz stick some things on yr body tat all. Take a que number to c the medical officer. Check yr "thing", yr back. Den sit down, ask ru homosexual? n about yr medical history.
Last stage. PC thing. Questions range from maths algebra to shapes, den dun hv calculator, brain cells die alot. If u think tat the end of it, Ur wrong. U walk out den saw a indian lady ask u to do the survey. It a booklet, damn so many pages n all muz shade 1. Most of them ask if u r loyal or protect singapore. Some r repeated questions.
Yeah! It done n u can go home.

Now tat 1 "MIE Student" come mention about my wafer finished already. I shall juz elaborate more. Yesterday, the testing of the wafer was very SUCCESSFUL. 2day we juz cut and attach it to the IC CHIP. Den we go further testing. The chip tat i have done = mirco hot-plate can heat up to 100 degree celsius. Tis week can present to my supervisor and let the other group (u shld know who ru) kan chiong abit. LOLx. gtg now, will update more often.

I have finally finished my wafer fabrication. But failed in the testing part. I am happy as i have done all the steps process, N im the 1st in the whole batch of MIE to finish. HAHAHA... Although it doesnt work, but at least i got somethg to present to the CM, cos i did promised him i would give him the wafer. LOL... 2day is PR2 with supervisor, nothing much done, juz fill in blanks and pass him the log book. Nthg much happen lately, so dun hv anythg to write here.

Whoah... it been a while since I last post. The past few days got graphic card prob n cant play games only can do normal things, boring. 2day juz got myself a new graphic card nvidia 6600. I like it, it black color (cool). It can also b use in PCIe board nxt time, haha save $$$. Den oso do a benchmark test on the card and got 11000 marks. Goin to try out games later... LOL. On SIP, hmmm, actually my fabrication is goin 2 finish soon. Monday goin 4 testing. If can work, den at least got smthg 2 present 2 CM... if not jialat sia. If cant work, at least show him the Chip tat got the patterns. Stop here 4 now. will b back!

It been so long since I last update. People oso complain tat my entry are all so short, so tis time Im goin 2 write a essay. Here it goes... Finally SIP start, actually it aka as slacking in progress or sleeping in progress. Den the whole of last wk was actually doin nothing, juz walking around play solitaire, now den noe tat it actually quite a nice game 2 play... LOL. And the worstt part is tat the lab tat im working in got total of abt 30-40 ppl, BUT ther only got 2 internet connection PC, OMG... So jialat, den Lester say tat their lab can play LAN, SURF NET, CM, DOTA all kinds of thgs. Hear liao sian 1/2.I oso got pay the same amt of sch fees 1 lor. 2day got the cleanroom training, 1st time tat I wear the jumpsuit (spacesuit/teletubbies suit) 4 the whole day.2ml goin start on the wafer fabrication part, hope tat everything goes well 4 mine grp.
